TIER 2 FINALS
The Saskatoon Steelers thwarted the Yorkton Bulldogs attempts at a three-peat, coming away with a 9-6 victory Sunday to claim the PGLL's Tier II Championship.

Yorkton's Zack Soke was chosen as the Tier II playoff MVP.

Earlier in the day, the Regina Rifles scored a decisive 10-2 victory over the Assiniboia Attack in the Tier II Consolation game....

TIER 1 FINALS
The Saskatoon Smash rose back up to the top of the PGLL in a thrilling 8-5 overtime finale over the Prince Albert Predators, capturing their second Tier I Championship in the past 3 seasons and the third in a row for Saskatoon teams.  The teams were deadlocked at 5 a piece going into extra time before the Smash pulled away with 3 overtime goals.  It's the second straight set back in the Tier I title game for the Predators.

Smash goaltender Hunter Wongstedt was selected as the Tier I playoff MVP.

TIER 2 SEMI FINALS
The PGLL Tier II Final match up is set for 5 p.m Sunday.  For the third consecutive year the Yorkton Bulldogs go for the Tier II title after an exciting 11-10 overtime triumph over the Regina Rifles in the early semi-final game Saturday afternoon.

In the later semi-final game, it was the Saskatoon Steelers proving to be too much for the Assiniboia Attack to handle, easily cruising to an 11-2 victory.

TIER 1 SEMI FINALS
The Tier I Championship game is set to go 7:30 p.m Sunday at the Kinsmen Arena in Saskatoon.  In the early semi-final Saturday, the Saskatoon Smash outlasted the Regina Riot, and came away with a hard fought 11- 7 victory en route to the finals.

In the late semi, it was the PA Predators coming away with a tight 6-4 victory over Moose Jaw, earning their second trip to the final in as many years, and a chance for redemption.

The Tier I consolation game goes at 11:30 a.m. as Moose Jaw and the Riot battle for third spot.

FINAL STANDINGS SET; PLAYOFF MATCH-UPS DECIDED
The race for playoff positioning came down to the final days of the season for more than a few PGLL teams.

The PA Predators salvaged an 8-8 tie with the Saskatoon Smash Thursday night to hold on to first place overall in the Junior standings, and earning a first round match with Moose Jaw.

The Mustangs themselves needed a home win Sunday afternoon against the Smash to put themselves into 3rd spot and a meeting with the Regina Riot, however the Smash prevailed in a fight-filled 10-5 rout.
